My story
My role at A+M
As a manager in our accounting and assurance practice, I lead and review engagements for a broad scope of for-profit and not-for-profit clients. I’m also a member of the firm’s Standards Committee. We’re responsible for staff training and implementing professional assurance and accounting standards.
What I like about our workplace
I began my career at A+M as a co-op student, with the main goal of gaining experience in public accounting. I stayed because of the level of support and the close-knit team that I work with. The firm structure allows us to work alongside many different people, for many different types of clients, which makes our work more interesting and fulfilling.
What clients should know about A+M
We pride ourselves in being a trusted advisor. That means going above and beyond simply meeting compliance requirements, such as tax return-filing deadlines. It’s a great place to work and grow as a professional accountant.
What I do away from the office
I’m a big fan of both playing and watching hockey. I enjoy reading and watching anything Marvel- or Star Wars-related.
