Throughout 2026, Adams + Miles will mark a very special milestone that only a select few professional services firms achieve: 100 years of continuous service to our clients and industry partners. What began in 1926 as the merging of two small accounting practices has grown and evolved into a trusted partner to mid-sized businesses, charities and non-profits, families and entrepreneurs across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
For a century, firms have come and gone, economic cycles have ebbed and flowed and tax regimes have become ever more complex—yet through all of this, the Adams + Miles team has remained steadfast in our commitment to technical accuracy, strategic advice and genuine, long-term relationships.

A century-long evolution
From our earliest days in the roaring 1920s, through the Great Depression and post-war expansion, to the dynamic global economy of the 21st century, Adams + Miles has adapted and grown alongside the clients we serve. What has never changed is our purpose: to help clients navigate complexity with clarity, to structure their organizations for growth and to be trusted partners in their success. What also hasn’t waivered is our commitment to client service excellence and to our core values: Performance, integrity, respect, professionalism, loyalty and balance.
We’ve expanded our services over the decades—building specialty condominium and not-for profit practices, adding private family and high net-worth consulting, along with cross-border tax and strategic advisory, all designed to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the markets in which they operate. Today, with more than 60 dedicated professionals across offices in Toronto and Mississauga—along with the recent addition of Young Associates to the Adams + Miles family—we continue to deliver the precision, insight and value that generations of clients have come to rely on.
Our centennial year is more than a moment. We consider it a celebration of the relationships, innovation and trust that have sustained us for generations. Here’s how we’ll be honouring that legacy in 2026:
Centennial Events—Throughout the year, we’ll host a variety of events—in-person and virtual—bringing together clients, colleagues, industry partners and alumni to reminisce, learn and look forward to what’s in store as we get set for a second century in business. These festivities will reflect on the many milestones that have shaped our firm and the developments that have had the greatest impact on our clients.
100 Stories for 100 Years—We’ll be sharing 100 unique stories over the coming year on LinkedIn and on our website. Think of this series as a curated set of snapshots into the history of Adams + Miles and how we evolved from our earliest beginnings through to the present day; the transformations in the accounting sector and the Canadian economy over the last century; and the real stories of clients we’ve had the honour to serve across multiple generations, including one exceptional family that has been with our firm since nearly the beginning. These stories will reflect our firm’s character and the many personal connections that have helped propel our success.

To commemorate this landmark year, we’re proud to unveil a new 100th anniversary logo, which is a visual reflection of our heritage and a symbol of enduring partnership. The design blends our legacy with a forward-looking spirit, honouring where we’ve been while embracing where we’re going.
