Introducing the new Adams + Miles brand and website

Over nearly a century in business, you’d expect a few things to change at an accounting firm—and ours is no different. We’ve shifted our practice, merged with other firms, changed our name on several occasions as new partners came into the fold. And now we’re very pleased to announce the next step in our firm’s evolution. We’d like to introduce you to the new Adams + Miles.

We felt the time was right to refresh our brand identity, redesign our website and find creative ways to keep you informed about everything from new tax compliance rules to business developments of interest to your organization.

On the design side, we’ve completely reimagined our logo with a modern wordmark that simplifies and freshens up our firm’s look and feel. We’ve introduced an updated colour palette that’s designed to be modern and bold in its appearance. Indigo blues and hunter greens combine with splashes of salmon-hued reds for an added touch of dynamism. Then there’s something we call the Adams + Miles monogram.

It’s a classic-looking, collegiate-inspired symbol that combines the ‘A’ and ‘M’ in our name in a cursive font, intentionally conveying a hand-written aesthetic. It’s a nod to the personalized service that we strive to deliver with every client engagement, along with a reference to our long history as a firm. The monogram provides us with an elegant design element that you’ll see across our website and communications. We think it will become an instantly recognizable part of our brand and one that we can build on for years to come.

Perhaps the most significant change is to our website. We wanted to reimagine it as a platform for sharing our team’s content and thought leadership. It’s designed for ease of navigation and reference, all so you can learn about the topics that matter the most to you and your organization—from strategic operational considerations to tax and legislative compliance requirements. The goal is to keep you and your team up to date on the latest news and developments, while giving you an edge with timely, relevant perspectives. Think of it as the information you’re used to receiving from your A+M partner, but in a more efficient and browsable format.

To that end, we’re at the beginning of an ongoing process that will see us build out a library of content aligning with the firm’s various practice areas: Domestic Tax, International Tax and Growth; Accounting and Assurance; Condominiums; Charities and Not-for-Profits; Strategic Advisory; and Private Family and High-Net Worth Consulting. We’ll be updating our blogs on a regular basis, with plans to share that content in a newsletter delivered straight to your inbox. Stay tuned for more news on that in the weeks ahead.

The website also introduces you to our team. We want you to know more about the professionals serving your organization, including our partners and managers. We felt it was important to provide an overview of their experience and expertise, along with a few details about what drives them to find new ways to serve you better. The ‘Our History’ section on the website provides a glimpse into our past and nods to what we have planned for the future. And, of course, you’ll continue to gain access to our Client Portal at the click of a button.

In short, our brand refresh and website relaunch are part of an ongoing strategy to better service your personal and professional needs. By providing you with more information in a better package, we can help you make better decisions that help drive the growth and success of your organization. We’ll continue making improvements to the platform by adding new features and refining others to ensure the best possible user experience.
